August 13 - GlaxoSmithKline is preparing to sell billions worth of swine flu drugs this year. Their swine flu vaccine will be available by September, and international governments are already stockpiling large supplies of GSK's anti-viral treatment Relenza. Mercola.com

August 1 - The EU is bracing for "a dramatic rise in swine flu cases this fall", according to Jo Leinen, the director of the EU Health fraction: "there will be millions of cases and lots of deaths..."

July 31 - the world Media is reporting adverse reaction from Tamiflu - CNN reports:

• Researchers say more than half of children who took Tamiflu suffered side-effects
• Among reactions were nausea, nightmares and insomnia in
• Japan is advising against prescribing Tamiflu to youngsters aged 10 to 19 

July 24 - The stock price of Relenza maker Biota closed at $ 1.88, up from $ .54 when the virus was first announced.

July 23 - The European media is reporting high numbers of new infections, allegedly 100,000 in England within one week (NZZ.ch). How and who is generating these numbers - and based on what evidence?

July 22 - CNN London: "Sales of the flu drug Relenza shot up 1,900 percent from a year ago as governments around the world stockpiled in preparation for a swine flu pandemic, drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline said Wednesday."

July 22 - BBC News: "Vaxine and CSL have both started injecting volunteers this week, but it will be at least six weeks before the initial results are known."...But Vaxine research director Nikolai Petrovsky said: "There is no guarantee any of these vaccines will work. Swine flu is a very peculiar beast, its a very different virus that we're dealing with. But we are hopeful."...Meanwhile, drugs giant GlaxoSmithKline says it expects to triple capacity of its flu treatment Relenza to 190 million treatments per year.

July 17 - the WHO announces that it will no longer publish deaths caused by the H1N1 virus - despite all the hype a total of 429 worldwide - and it would focus on publishing newly affected territories and countries. The WHO web site states: "The 2009 influenza pandemic has spread internationally with unprecedented speed. In past pandemics, influenza viruses have needed more than six months to spread as widely as the new H1N1 virus has spread in less than six weeks."

The Pravda headlines read: "President Obama designated $1.825 billion in an emergency effort to fight the spread of the H1N1 strain of influenza known as swine flu. The money comes from the $7.65 billion in funds that Congress has already appropriated to the Department of Health and Human Services to deal with the swine flu pandemic."

May 16. The WHO has confirmed a total of 65 deaths worldwide in 34 countries. The "pandemic" has disappeared from all mainstream media Headlines. Japan had 4 cases in a popoulation of 120 million, nevertheless the health authorities enter every commercial airliner upon arrival in Japan and take every passengers temperature, make them fill-in lengthy questionaires and then stalk visitors throughout their stay in Japan.Today NHK national television dedicated 15 minutes of their 30 minutes evening news program, to 1 case of diagnosed N1H1 virus in a 17 year old student who did not travel abroad.

May 10: CNN Headlines read: "WHO reports big jump in swine flu cases.The World Health Organization on Saturday reported 3,440 confirmed cases of swine flu in 29 countries, with 48 deaths from the sickness." While this number of casualties worldwide seems inversly proportional to the media hype, one has to consider that even those deaths may not actually be a result of the swine flu. For example, the one adult death in the US was reported to have been an elderly person which suffered from a number of chronic illnesses. It is therefore highly probable that many of the reported deaths were a result from complications and not the flu virus itself.

May 1: the Swiss news media (SDA) report that the US. governemt bought antiviral drugs for $ 251 million; the drug Tamiflu from Roche for $ 200 million and Relenza from GlaxoSmithKline for $ 51 million. According to the report, the US government is stocking 50 million units of these antiviral drugs and the States have another 23 million units on reserve.But this and other swine flu virus news has slipped form front pages of European media, while CNN is not mentioning the drug purchase at all but runs the headline: "Confirmed H1N1 cases leap", note the absence of te term swine flu virus!

The April 30 headlines on CNN's web site read: "Swine Flu: world one step from pandemic"; by Noon the headline changed to: "Confirmed swine flu cases leap"; while the BBC News headline read: "EU warns against swine flu panic".and by Noon the headline had slipped from the top of the page. The CNN headline is followed by: "WHO reports 236 lab-confirmed cases, up from 148" - worldwide that is, and then: "109 cases reported in 11 U.S. states, CDC reports"; does that sound like a pandemic?

European Newspapers reported already on April 28, that the numbers of casualties in Mexico were sharply corrected downward form "over 150" to a mere 5 confirmed deaths. The 2,500 suspected cases became 26 cases on April 29. Even those reports are not conclusive and anyone familiar with healthcare in Mexico knows that the conditions are conducive to rapid spread of any diseases.But the real interesting thing is that the U.S. media is completely dodging ny potentially fear abating facts; CNN's web site on Wednesday morning showed a womans' face with a blue mask and obviously frightened eyes and the story read: "A two-year-old child in Texas has become the first fatality from swine flu in the United States, officials said Wednesday. The child is the first person to die of swine flu outside of Mexico where it is blamed for more than 159 deaths and roughly 2,500 illnesses.".

According to the U.S. CDC (Center for Disease Control)  on Wednesday at Noon, there were 94 confirmed cases in the entire nation of 300 million , not thousands or even hundreds, and even these may turn out to be  common flu cases..That begs the question: do networks like CNN have no access to the same news sources as the European media? Of course they know the facts - so what do they want you to believe and why? Then - of course - there is the pharma-biotech drug industry and Wall Street to benefit, the stock price of BIOTA, an originator of one of the two  anti-flu drugs (Relenza and Tamiflu) that were sold by the millions to treat the avian-flu - shot up 85% on Monday, but then surrendered most of these gains on Tuesday and Wednesday. Obviously, some folks know more than others.

Before anyone caves in to media induced panic and fear mongering it is recommended that they do their own non-partisan research. The popular Radio Talk Show Host Michael Savage chimed in the fear mongering for hours on Monday and Tuesday, touting his epidemiology background to render credibility to his call for closing the border. His spin is that the virus is laboratory made and probably by Al Khaida.

This "pandemic" is reminiscent of the infamous Doomsday SARS and Avian flu that were "going to kill millions", it seems at least highly distorted and blown out of proportions. Then, there was the infamous1976 outbreak of Swine Flu ot Fort Dix, NJ; which eclipsed in an epic failure in vaccinating the whole Nation. - when the epidemic failed to arrive. But meanwhile the WHO is making sure the hype will gain momentum: at an impromptu meeting in Geneva they "wheighed the facts" and raised the pandemic alert level to a 5 (Phase 6 is the highest level in the scale and is a "full-scale pandemic"). At their meeting on Saturday, April 25, the pandemic alert level was already raised to level 4. Dr.Nikki Shindo, a WHO "flu expert" told the Associated Press that "hundreds of thousands" of people in Mexico could theoretically be infected with swine flu. Now, what are theoretical infections - and how does the WHO Ministry is constantly downsizing their cases? In case one wonders who has a vested interest in the WHO's preemptive proclamation - Roche announced on Saturday that it is ready to deliver 3 million doses of Tamiflu...

Is the Virus a product of biotechnology engineering, deliberately or accidentally emitted? We don't know - yet, however the known facts about the origin of previous "apocalyptic pandemics" (that never happened) like SARS and Avian Flu, but also HIV and AIDS - plus the declared intention of militant groups to develop and deploy biological weapons - seem to fuel the fear. For all that - it is not time for panic and no need to buy face masks or useless drugs that impair your immune system - in fact, the best defense against any virus is a strong immune system , promoted by healthy food, clean water and lots of sleep.
